Spectators: 7022 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isidro Osmundo started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Byron Bay City booed when Atahualpa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Osmundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edelmiro Aragones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Victoriano Aztore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Byron Bay City's Honorio Bras in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Bras made a kick off. Rafael Paez hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Bras in the 55th minute of play forced Atahualpa AFC's goalkeeper Victoriano Aztore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Aztore having to interfere. With a little luck, Atahualpa AFC's Victoriano Aztore got control of the ball when Edelmiro Aragones tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Osmundo in the 62nd minute of play forced Byron Bay City's goalkeeper Alsan Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alsan Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Osmundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Korkut Öktüre hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Leandro Eliazar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alsan Koehler. Byron Bay City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 76th minute, Atahualpa AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edelmiro Aragones fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 79 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Aragones notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Atahualpa AFC's Victoriano Aztore. Victoriano Aztore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victoriano Aztore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Bras's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Byron Bay City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korkut Öktüre to maneuver through the defense. When Wilfredo Loreto came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Atahualpa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Loreto couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Paez during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Byron Bay City's Rafael Paez got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Byron Bay City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
