Eriberto Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Oxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Lizbeth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Payogasta AFC's Eriberto Galo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Oxel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Eriberto Galo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Oxel. Antonio Oxel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Antonio Oxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Galo in the 34th minute of play. Blas Lizbeth scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Oxel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Blas Lizbeth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Oxel was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After having played for 44 minutes, Eriberto Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Payogasta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Galo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Celedonio Thomas made the kick off in the second half. Antonio Oxel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Payogasta AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
