The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Albano Maidana might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Narciso Ilixo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albano Maidana ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute, Zacarias Kimetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Nigma F.C's Elpidio Victoro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Edgardo Garaile hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Gerardo Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Nigma F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cerritos:s goal. When Jorge Orlin came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Cerritos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Orlin couldn't finish the play. When Jonatan Diegotxe fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nigma F.C's protests and gave Jonatan Diegotxe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Jonatan Diegotxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Jorge Orlin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Ilixo. Nigma F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Orlin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonatan Diegotxe made a kick off. Benedicto Lluc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Ilixo having to interfere. Gervasio Isauro kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Jorge Orlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerritos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Orlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Nigma F.C's Jonatan Diegotxe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerardo Matia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Sergio Abaunza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nigma F.C and the Cerritos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nigma F.C's Sergio Abaunza got a free kick in the 64th minute. Narciso Ilixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Orlin in the 74th minute of play. Gerardo Matia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonatan Diegotxe's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. 94 minutes in the game, Pedro Lidon fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gerardo Matia having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Cerritos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Mundo to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cerritos fully deserved thier win.
