Spectators: 6933 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jonatan Diegotxe made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Nigma F.C booed when Byron Bay City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Paez didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Joaquin Polentzi from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Alsan Koehler's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Byron Bay City's goalkeeper Alsan Koehler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 12 played minutes Nigma F.C got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Victoro. If Edelmiro Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Bras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Ilixo having to interfere. Honorio Bras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 played minutes Nigma F.C got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Polentzi. After 27 minutes, Honorio Bras made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nigma F.C's Narciso Ilixo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Narciso Ilixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Aragones in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Honorio Bras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Ilixo was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Narciso Ilixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Bras, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorio Bras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Edelmiro Aragones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Ilixo was a little too slow when Honorio Bras got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 57thth minute of the game Honorio Bras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nigma F.C's Narciso Ilixo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Edgard Rosio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Byron Bay City's Edelmiro Aragones got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 72nd minute of the match Elpidio Victoro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Elpidio Victoro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Nigma F.C getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Elpidio Victoro hit a great ball. Byron Bay City's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 74th minute of the game, when Edgard Rosio after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Nigma F.C's goal. Edgard Rosio was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Christian Enol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Narciso Ilixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Ilixo was a little too slow when Honorio Bras got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-4. After having played for 81 minutes, Edelmiro Aragones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Byron Bay City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Aragones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Nigma F.C getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Joaquin Polentzi hit a great ball. Edgard Rosio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Narciso Ilixo. Nigma F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Narciso Ilixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Bras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Byron Bay City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nigma F.C throughout the match.
