Gervasio Orlondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute, Blas Lizbeth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Tomalon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Lobo came free, but Americo Egun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Lizbeth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Egun having to interfere. Ruperto Baladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Medina made a kick off. When Octavio Medina fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tomalon FC's protests and gave Octavio Medina a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Tomalon FC's Americo Egun got control of the ball when Blas Lizbeth tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Payogasta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Medina came free, but Gervasio Orlondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Lizbeth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Americo Egun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Orlondo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruperto Baladi went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Americo Egun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Lizbeth in the 72nd minute of play. Tomalon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Medina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Orlondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Payogasta AFC's Adolfo Bortzaioriz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Americo Egun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Payogasta AFC's zone, Octavio Medina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Orlondo came out of the goal and Octavio Medina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomalon FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Payogasta AFC for a fine match.
