Spectators: 7003 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 50) After having played for 6 minutes, Benedicto Lluc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerritos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Lluc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedicto Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Osmundo in the 12th minute of play. Isidro Osmundo's late challenge caught a Cerritos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Osmundo helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Atahualpa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Osmundo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedicto Lluc in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Aztore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raul Oihenarte hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Atahualpa AFC's Victoriano Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Lluc in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atahualpa AFC's Nemesio Vela got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Orlin in the 21st minute of play forced Atahualpa AFC's goalkeeper Victoriano Aztore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cerritos getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Zacarias Kimetz hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Salomone during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dante Salomone hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Gerardo Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Osmundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Isidro Osmundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Matia having to interfere. Isidro Osmundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Isidro Osmundo made the kick off in the second half. When Jorge Orlin fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerritos's protests and gave Jorge Orlin a yellow card for diving instead. Wilfredo Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Orlin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Aztore having to make a save. With a little luck, Atahualpa AFC's Victoriano Aztore got control of the ball when Honorato Geleberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Benedicto Lluc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Aztore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 minutes of play Atahualpa AFC's Dante Salomone was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dante Salomone hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Benedicto Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cerritos's Benedicto Lluc got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victoriano Aztore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Orlin in the 89th minute. Isidro Osmundo got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 92nd minute, Isidro Osmundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Zacarias Kimetz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atahualpa AFC's Victoriano Aztore didn't even have to move. If Jorge Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cerritos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
