Reynaldo Nicholas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hilario Guifre. FloHo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hilario Guifre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Ospetsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Argider in the 20th minute of play forced Tacuarendí AFC's goalkeeper Omar Eufrasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Domiku was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Omar Eufrasio, was totally fooled by FloHo FC's Ceferino Martinez, who 23 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Tacuarendí AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FloHo FC:s goal. Paulo Argider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Eufrasio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Adrio in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Tacuarendí AFC's Francisco Beturian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hilario Guifre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Alfonso Ospetsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hilario Guifre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Erasmo Joseph's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilario Guifre was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

The wind increased when Paulo Argider made the kick off in the second half. FloHo FC's Hilario Guifre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save FloHo FC from getting a goal against them. Paulo Argider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Paulo Argider got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Omar Eufrasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Adrio in the 60th minute of play. Alfonso Ospetsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hilario Guifre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FloHo FC's Hilario Guifre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save FloHo FC from getting a goal against them. If Silvio Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th match minute, Tacuarendí AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Joseph to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Ospetsu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Omar Eufrasio came out of the goal and Silvio Adrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Omar Eufrasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alfonso Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Argider's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Eufrasio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Alfonso Ospetsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Francisco Beturian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacuarendí AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Beturian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Guifre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
