Blas Arnau might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciriaco Richie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blas Arnau ran back to his position shaking his head. Blas Arnau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Romulo Osoitz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nicolas Caradaro to make any attempt to save it. If Jimeno Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Ciceron in the 37th minute of play forced SMK-C.A.I's goalkeeper Nicolas Caradaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SMK-C.A.I's Nicolas Caradaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Ciceron in the 40th minute of play. After 43 minutes, Ricardo Ciceron made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. SMK-C.A.I's Nicolas Caradaro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Nicolas Caradaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Puerto Madryn FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Faustino Thomas was slow to take the kick. During this time SMK-C.A.I's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Faustino Thomas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Puerto Madryn FC's Ciriaco Richie did a great save. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ricardo Ciceron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SMK-C.A.I's Nicolas Caradaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jimeno Aires struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ciriaco Richie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SMK-C.A.I. Puerto Madryn FC's Ciriaco Richie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Puerto Madryn FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Puerto Madryn FC's zone, Blas Arnau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Richie came out of the goal and Blas Arnau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romulo Osoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Nicolas Caradaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Caradaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Osoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SMK-C.A.I's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
