In the 10th minute, Cangallo FC's Marcial Pinto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabian Elixio. Fabian Elixio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Raul Vasco hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes Cangallo FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Pinto. If Gilberto Pudes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Anselmo Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caseros Junior's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Abeijon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Quirze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caseros Junior's Fabian Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Pinto in the 24th minute of play. If Gilberto Pudes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Anselmo Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Pudes in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Quirze saved Cangallo FC from getting behind. Gilberto Pudes succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. 47 minutes into the game, Raul Vasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Fabian Elixio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcial Pinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabian Elixio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Pinto in the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of Caseros Junior booed when Cangallo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mattin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Pudes in the 58th minute of play.
