Horquilla's Joel Filipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Arnau in the 19th minute of play. Nicolas Caradaro came out and tried to block the shot, but Gervasio Benat slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 25th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blas Arnau to strike the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Filipo having to interfere. Joel Filipo was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Blas Arnau capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Blas Arnau really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Nicolas Caradaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Faron in the 58th minute of play. Arturo Faron hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jimeno Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Filipo having to interfere. Joel Filipo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimeno Aires in the 67th minute. After 72 played minutes SMK-C.A.I got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Mannuel. 74 minutes into the match, SMK-C.A.I's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Benat came free, but Nicolas Caradaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Horquilla's zone, Jimeno Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Filipo came out of the goal and Jimeno Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Caradaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Faron's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After 93 played minutes SMK-C.A.I got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Hanot. SMK-C.A.I's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
