Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tacuarendí AFC's Maximo Maties started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Anselmo Abeijon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Maties in the 5th minute of play forced Caseros Junior's goalkeeper Fabian Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Maties received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabian Elixio came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximo Maties slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tacuarendí AFC's zone, Gilberto Pudes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Eufrasio came out of the goal and Gilberto Pudes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omar Eufrasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Eyague, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gilberto Pudes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Eufrasio having to interfere. When Francisco Beturian fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tacuarendí AFC's protests and gave Francisco Beturian a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tacuarendí AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Francisco Beturian hit a great ball. Alfonso Ospetsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Fabian Elixio made a huge save. Alfonso Ospetsu came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabian Elixio could save by the left post. 28 minutes into the match, Tacuarendí AFC's Maximo Maties sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Elixio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilberto Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Elixio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Maties, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Eufrasio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Pudes's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Anselmo Abeijon took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Eufrasio. Omar Eufrasio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Fabian Elixio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eusebio Conrao. 45 minutes into the match, Caseros Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Maties came free, but Fabian Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match, Alfonso Ospetsu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabian Elixio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

In the 71st minute, Erasmo Joseph got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Elixio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Fabian Elixio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso Ospetsu went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Eusebio Conrao fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tacuarendí AFC's protests and gave Eusebio Conrao a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tacuarendí AFC's Eusebio Conrao got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Anselmo Abeijon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 played minutes, Tacuarendí AFC's Reynaldo Nicholas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabian Elixio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tacuarendí AFC reached it. Fabian Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Ospetsu in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 played minutes Tacuarendí AFC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Beturian. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Pudes in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Eufrasio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Omar Eufrasio made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gilberto Pudes sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Tacuarendí AFC's Alfonso Ospetsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Elixio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Many of Caseros Junior's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Caseros Junior may have spent more time on the ball, but Tacuarendí AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
