Seven Box's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oeste GBA the free kick. After 39 played minutes Seven Box got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Maidana. A collision led to Seven Box getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Saturnino Maidana hit a great ball. After the first half Oeste GBA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

58 minutes into the match, Seven Box's goalkeeper Ariel Montez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Vergaray. Denis Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ariel Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oeste GBA reached it. Ariel Montez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Fliz's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Seven Box's supporters rose to their feet, but Generoso Ostots was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
