Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulo Asteri got the match started through his kick off. Mariano Santio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Ermengol, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Teo Garci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, El Pichu F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Ermengol came free, but Mariano Santio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Alonzo Cesario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Freddy Gamus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruben Goyo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Freddy Gamus. Marull's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Jesus Neto fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marull's protests and gave Jesus Neto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Jesus Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes Marull got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Curcio. Angelino Ermengol's late challenge caught a El Pichu F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Ermengol helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Marull getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Angelino Ermengol hit a great ball. If Alonzo Cesario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Samuel Lope came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the El Pichu F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Lope couldn't finish the play. El Pichu F.C. were furious when Faustino Lekubegi was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 27th minute, one of El Pichu F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Pichu F.C.. The referee gave Marull a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maximino Curcio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Pichu F.C.'s Mariano Santio. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Ubarna in the 33rd minute of play forced Marull's goalkeeper Freddy Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Ubarna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Llope in the 37th minute of the match. Freddy Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Lope in the 39th minute of play. Samuel Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Clodoveo Ubarna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Lope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Freddy Gamus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Adan Llope made the kick off in the second half. Freddy Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Llope in the 56th minute of the match. Freddy Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Lope in the 58th minute of play. When Adan Llope came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the El Pichu F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Llope couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Lope in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Gamus saved Marull from getting behind. Clodoveo Ubarna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Freddy Gamus made a huge save. In the 65th match minute, Marull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Clodoveo Ubarna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 71 minutes, Samuel Lope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Pichu F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Lope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Gamus having to interfere. Freddy Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Valentin Oalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddy Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Lope in the 76th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Orlando Llorenc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Freddy Gamus. That made the score 1-2 in the 77 minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Marciano Arce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marull's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Pichu F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Marull getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Marciano Arce hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marull's zone, Adan Llope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Gamus came out of the goal and Adan Llope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Marull defense, Adan Llope kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Gamus. The Marull fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Gamus should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, El Pichu F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Ermengol came free, but Mariano Santio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marull's Freddy Gamus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Marull from getting a goal against them. El Pichu F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
