Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edelmiro Berdoi got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in PAPA FC's zone, Honorato Lauren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Cebrian came out of the goal and Honorato Lauren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Urtzi got free with Zeledon Cebrian in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edelmiro Berdoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Leon Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot. PAPA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Gora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Baumar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Makallé's zone, Leon Gora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Baumar came out of the goal and Leon Gora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edelmiro Berdoi in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Baumar saved Makallé from getting behind. Anier Montay kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of PAPA FC booed when Makallé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Lekubegi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Edelmiro Berdoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Makallé's Paolo Baumar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zeledon Cebrian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Urtzi in the 40th minute. Paolo Baumar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Gora, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Gora in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Baumar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half PAPA FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorato Lauren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Celedonio Urtzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Cebrian having to interfere. Leon Gora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Baumar having to make a save. After 60 played minutes, PAPA FC's Siro Olayo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paolo Baumar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PAPA FC reached it. Makallé's Paolo Baumar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Makallé from getting a goal against them. PAPA FC's Zeledon Cebrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Lauren in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Makallé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Lekubegi to maneuver through the defense. If Honorato Lauren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Honorato Lauren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Cebrian. PAPA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorato Lauren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Zeledon Cebrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Lauren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
