When Ramon Mambru fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Makallé's protests and gave Ramon Mambru a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Gondra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Bernad to maneuver through the defense. If Celedonio Urtzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Baumar came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Gondra's Cosme Sotil. But to his dismay, Cosme Sotil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Paolo Baumar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Marz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Cosme Sotil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paolo Baumar. Makallé's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosme Sotil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Makallé's Santiago Lekubegi got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosme Sotil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Baumar having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Gondra's goalkeeper Santiago Cristofor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Urtzi. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Cosme Sotil put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Paolo Baumar.

Santiago Cristofor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Lauren in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Celedonio Urtzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Makallé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Urtzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gondra's Jacinto Marz got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Makallé's Paolo Baumar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Sotil in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Santiago Lekubegi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Makallé's Paolo Baumar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Makallé from getting a goal against them. Honorato Lauren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Cristofor having to interfere.
