In the 9th match minute, MESSI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Ferrando to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Teofilio in the 10th minute of play forced MESSI FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Juan Edwardo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aureliano Frutos, passed just outside the right post. Lino Oidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MESSI FC's Maximiliano Adrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Teofilio in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Teofilio in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Adrio saved MESSI FC from getting behind. If Ildefonso Tajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Balesio hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Juan Edwardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Frutos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ildefonso Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Edwardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Aureliano Frutos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ildefonso Tajo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Versailles AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Tajo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Adrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 66th minute, Ildefonso Tajo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ildefonso Tajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Versailles AFC's Placido Teofilio got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Placido Teofilio rounded MESSI FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. In the 78th match minute, Versailles AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Romano to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Lino Oidor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MESSI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With a little luck, MESSI FC's Maximiliano Adrio got control of the ball when Ildefonso Tajo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Edwardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91stth minute of the game Placido Teofilio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MESSI FC's Maximiliano Adrio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Placido Teofilio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Versailles AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
