If Lázaro Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Cordarell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Rigoberto Beturian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emma FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Beturian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Seme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th match minute, Palomo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Hugo Moralez to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes, Emma FC's Vinicio Baumar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonatan Seme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Emma FC reached it. If Rigoberto Beturian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Filipo might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Seme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Filipo ran back to his position shaking his head. Enzo Uxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Cordarell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the match Ambrosio Sengrat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enzo Uxio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Hernan Noe fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palomo FC's protests and gave Hernan Noe a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Emma FC's Enzo Uxio got control of the ball when Hernan Noe tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Isaias Mundo fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Emma FC's protests and gave Isaias Mundo a yellow card for diving instead. Isaias Mundo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Palomo FC's Freddy Taurino tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Modesto Domiku charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Domiku the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Modesto Domiku hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lázaro Cordarell to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Emma FC booed when Palomo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Vinicio Baumar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonatan Seme skillfully saved the ball. Hernan Noe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Palomo FC booed when Emma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Mundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Emma FC defense, Hernan Noe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Uxio. The Emma FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Uxio should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Hernan Noe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Modesto Domiku hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Lázaro Cordarell put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Enzo Uxio. If Lázaro Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Uxio having to interfere. There was no doubt that Palomo FC were the better team. Palomo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
