Elisa F.C's Benito Irrintzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Elisa F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute, Elisa F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aureliano Veronica fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Elisa F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Aureliano Veronica scored to the left of an out of position Benito Irrintzi, making the score, 1-0. Benito Irrintzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Veronica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siro Constancio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Remigio Vasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Irrintzi was a little too slow when Aureliano Veronica got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-0. Remigio Vasco hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes Elisa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Siro Constancio. Remigio Vasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Benito Irrintzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Remigio Vasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Unión Pocilguense booed when Elisa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Jatsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Elisa F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Remigio Vasco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Bertol in the 41st minute of play forced Elisa F.C's goalkeeper Benito Irrintzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Remigio Vasco sped through Elisa F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Irrintzi.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceferino Maureo to strike the kick off in the second half. Unión Pocilguense's Abel Urdaspal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Unión Pocilguense from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Ceferino Maureo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Elisa F.C's zone, Aureliano Veronica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Irrintzi came out of the goal and Aureliano Veronica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Urdaspal came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Elisa F.C's Siro Constancio. But to his dismay, Siro Constancio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. During the 67th minute of the match Ceferino Maureo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ceferino Maureo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 68 played minutes Elisa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Maureo. Remigio Vasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Benito Irrintzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Lohitzun hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Aureliano Veronica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remigio Vasco took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Irrintzi. Benito Irrintzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 80 minutes into the game, Aureliano Veronica cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Benito Irrintzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute, Remigio Vasco made a precise shot to the right of Benito Irrintzi. Elisa F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Aureliano Veronica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remigio Vasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Irrintzi having to interfere. Unión Pocilguense's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
