After 27 minutes of play, Sarmiento's Eloy Damario made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Txomin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Delmiro Guerau kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Julian Panfilo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Txomin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 42 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Barracas's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Ebardo came free, but Arnaldo Txomin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Txomin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Tonio in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Julian Panfilo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Arnaldo Txomin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Panfilo was the one to do the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Julian Panfilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Sportivo Barracas's Arnaldo Txomin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Arnaldo Txomin managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Sarmiento's Julian Panfilo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arnaldo Txomin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento. Julian Panfilos short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Arnaldo Txomin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 73 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Barracas's goalkeeper Arnaldo Txomin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Panfilo. After 75 played minutes Sarmiento got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Quinteros. Maximiliano Urre scored 1-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Txomin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute Justo Ebardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Txomin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Ernesto Iban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes Sarmiento got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Guerau. Jeremias Barea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Iban in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Sarmiento left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Sportivo Barracas.
