An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Gustavo López got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 31st minute Godfredo Sasoin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Crescencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Choripan Unión Social getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Pedro Pueblo hit a great ball. Choripan Unión Social's Jeronimo Abreu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Choripan Unión Social from getting a goal against them. Jeronimo Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo López in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Ramon Ignado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo López received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jeronimo Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godfredo Sasoin was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, C.A. Huracan's Ramon Ignado made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeronimo Abreu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacinto Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Sasoin might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernabe Crescencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Sasoin ran back to his position shaking his head. Godfredo Sasoin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gustavo López came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the C.A. Huracan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo López couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Corderro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernabe Crescencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Gustavo López fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Abreu having to interfere. If Ramon Ignado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, C.A. Huracan's Anibal Chico got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jeronimo Abreu came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Huracan's Ramon Ignado. But to his dismay, Ramon Ignado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Godfredo Sasoin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
