After having played for 6 minutes, Arnaldo Musko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morrillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Musko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of peloteros F.C booed when Morrillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Fresco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Edgardo Pabla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Marcones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match, Serafino Reno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Teo Marcones was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Musko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregorio Bela was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Morrillo's Teo Marcones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Reno in the 23rd minute of play. Armando Guillen's late challenge caught a peloteros F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Guillen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of peloteros F.C booed when Morrillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Guillen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morrillo were furious when Froilan Oinaz was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Teo Marcones, was totally fooled by peloteros F.C's Dalmacio Donzel, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Teo Marcones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Pabla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in peloteros F.C's zone, Natalio Mero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Bela came out of the goal and Natalio Mero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafino Reno got free with Teo Marcones in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafino Reno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Teo Marcones made a huge save. If Natalio Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geronimo Cordeara to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Morrillo's Geronimo Cordeara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gregorio Bela. That made the score 1-2 after 56 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Cordarin in the 60th minute of play forced Morrillo's goalkeeper Teo Marcones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Bela having to interfere. Geronimo Cordeara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gregorio Bela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, peloteros F.C's Nemesio Cordarin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in peloteros F.C's zone, Geronimo Cordeara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 86th minute of the match, Geronimo Cordeara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gregorio Bela saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Morrillo fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Morrillo's Constantino Txordon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 90 minutes, Geronimo Cordeara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morrillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Cordeara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Morrillo's Constantino Txordon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregorio Bela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Geronimo Cordeara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gregorio Bela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Emanuel Elixio in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Morrillo's Constantino Txordon. Morrillo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
