With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfredo Sasoin in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Eufemio saved Classic from getting behind. Fulgencio Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Nicolas Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Lonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Choripan Unión Social was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Carolo Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Fulgencio Berbiz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeronimo Abreu. Choripan Unión Social's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Choripan Unión Social's zone, Fulgencio Lonzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Abreu came out of the goal and Fulgencio Lonzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustacio Guillen's late challenge caught a Choripan Unión Social's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Guillen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Classic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Guillen to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Jacinto Corderro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Samuel Eufemio, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Classic's zone, Jacinto Corderro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Eufemio came out of the goal and Jacinto Corderro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 minutes of play, Choripan Unión Social's Jacinto Corderro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Eufemio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Lonzo got free with Jeronimo Abreu in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Lonzo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jeronimo Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Classic. Nicolas Vermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jeronimo Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeronimo Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Guillen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Vermudo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Jeronimo Abreu 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, Classic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Kauldi to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes Choripan Unión Social got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Batista. Fulgencio Lonzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeronimo Abreu having to make a save. Choripan Unión Social's Jeronimo Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Vermudo in the 78th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Classic players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Choripan Unión Social.
