Nemesio Cordarryl started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Club Sportivo Barracas getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Cornelio Jon hit a great ball. Arnaldo Txomin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Vermudo in the 6th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes, Classic's Fermin Salomon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnaldo Txomin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Classic reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Chale during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angelo Chale kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Nicolas Vermudo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Classic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Vermudo couldn't finish the play. Club Sportivo Barracas's Arnaldo Txomin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Vermudo in the 14th minute of play. 20 minutes in the game, Nicolas Vermudo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arnaldo Txomin having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Club Sportivo Barracas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Inge to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Txomin made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Fulgencio Lonzo sent off a good shot on target. After 30 minutes of play, Classic's Fulgencio Lonzo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Txomin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel Eufemio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Classic's zone, Nemesio Cordarryl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Eufemio came out of the goal and Nemesio Cordarryl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Cordarryl in the 41st minute of play forced Classic's goalkeeper Samuel Eufemio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Ernesto Iban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Sportivo Barracas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Classic the free kick. Ernesto Iban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Eufemio having to interfere. If Venancio Maurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Vermudo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Vermudo struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Arnaldo Txomin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Classic. Samuel Eufemio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Cordarryl in the 63rd minute of the match. A hard shot 66 in the game by Venancio Maurin from a close distance when the talented Samuel Eufemio managed to make a qualified save. Classic's players were relieved. Fulgencio Lonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Arnaldo Txomin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Cordarryl during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes Classic got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Lonzo. In the 94th minute Nicolas Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Txomin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustacio Guillen charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustacio Guillen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Sportivo Barracas booed when Classic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Guillen didn't get a good kick on the ball.
