Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgardo Pabla started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Maximiliano Urre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Urre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Penalty! Sarmiento's Jeremias Barea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Sarmiento from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Urre in the 17th minute of play forced peloteros F.C's goalkeeper Gregorio Bela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Julian Panfilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but peloteros F.C's Gregorio Bela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gregorio Bela came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarmiento's Julian Panfilo. But to his dismay, Julian Panfilo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Julian Panfilo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Bela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the peloteros F.C defense, Julian Panfilo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Bela. The peloteros F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Bela should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento's Luisito Ladio got a free kick in the 39th minute. 46 minutes into the match, peloteros F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Panfilo came free, but Gregorio Bela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Julian Panfilo made the kick off in the second half. If Edgardo Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Urre took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregorio Bela. Gregorio Bela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. With a little luck, peloteros F.C's Gregorio Bela got control of the ball when Julian Panfilo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Amadeo Tonio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gregorio Bela, 0-7. With his leg Gregorio Bela managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Sarmiento's Julian Panfilo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Amadeo Tonio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gregorio Bela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sarmiento's Julian Panfilo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, peloteros F.C's Gregorio Bela got control of the ball when Julian Panfilo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Julian Panfilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Panfilo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sarmiento's Jeremias Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Cordarin in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Apolo Batista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Barea. Sarmiento's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. peloteros F.C's Gregorio Bela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save peloteros F.C from getting a goal against them.
