In the 21st minute, Geronimo Cordeara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenio Filipo's late challenge caught a Morrillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Filipo helped the player get up and apologised. Geronimo Cordeara struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Danilo Sansone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morrillo. Virgilio Sergi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Cordeara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teo Marcones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Cordera in the 33rd minute. Geronimo Cordeara took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Sansone. Danilo Sansone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Geronimo Cordeara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geronimo Cordeara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geronimo Cordeara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Danilo Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geronimo Fresco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Sansone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Geronimo Cordeara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Geronimo Cordeara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in JUVENTUD UNIDA's zone, Constantino Txordon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Sansone came out of the goal and Constantino Txordon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Morrillo's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Nisio came free, but Teo Marcones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geronimo Cordeara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Sansone having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind JUVENTUD UNIDA's goalkeeper Danilo Sansone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Morrillo's Geronimo Cordeara got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danilo Sansone made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Geronimo Fresco sent off a good shot on target. If Geronimo Cordeara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Morrillo failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
