Ruben Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Bernabel in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Fermin Rocio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Rocio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florentino Mel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Ruben Casomiro came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Vázques's Feliberto Bernabel. But to his dismay, Feliberto Bernabel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Abel Estevez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Casomiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Fermin Rocio made the kick off in the second half. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abel Estevez 51 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Vázques's Abel Estevez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruben Casomiro. That made the score 1-3 after 55 minutes of play. In the 58th minute, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abel Estevez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Ruben Casomiro managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Vázques's Feliberto Bernabel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Ruben Casomiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ruben Casomiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Estevez in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Feliberto Bernabel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vázques's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Bernabel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Vázques's Abel Estevez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruben Casomiro. Ruben Casomiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The supporters of Vázques booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Quexal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Abel Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Casomiro came out of the goal and Abel Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Abel Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vázques's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Estevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Casomiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Feliberto Bernabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Casomiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abel Estevez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 95 minute of play. When the match was over Vázques could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Atlético Atlanta throughout the match.
