After a rather tough play, Vázques's Feliberto Bernabel got a free kick in the 10th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Leones F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Bernabel came free, but Ambrosio Ereinotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorio Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Florentino Mel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Florentino Mel managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Leones F.C's Honorio Napier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorio Napier to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Napier in the 54th minute of play forced Vázques's goalkeeper Florentino Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Honorio Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Gauargi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Honorio Napier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Mel. Vázques's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Napier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 73rd minute, Vázques's Feliberto Bernabel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Florentino Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Gauargi in the 79th minute of the match. Feliberto Bernabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Leones F.C's goalkeeper Ambrosio Ereinotz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Bernabel. Feliberto Bernabel scored 3-3 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ambrosio Ereinotz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leones F.C were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
