In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quilumpa AFC's goalkeeper Amadeo Poz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amadeo Poz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Eutropio in the 8th minute of play. Amadeo Poz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Severiano Sustrai. Edgard Cibran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Amadeo Poz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeus's Nicanor Eutropio got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quilumpa AFC's Amadeo Poz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Quilumpa AFC from getting a goal against them. Faustino Goi kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Nicanor Eutropio struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Amadeo Poz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zeus. Quilumpa AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Edgard Cibran scored to the left of an out of position Amadeo Poz, making the score, 1-0. Zeus's Ciriaco Azeari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Rojelio in the 41st minute of play. Ciriaco Azeari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Cloyo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Eutropio to strike the kick off in the second half. Angelino Fidencio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Angelino Fidencio charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelino Fidencio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Quilumpa AFC booed when Zeus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Fidencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Cloyo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Ciriaco Azeari when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amadeo Poz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Eutropio in the 59th minute of the match. When Simon Santio fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quilumpa AFC's protests and gave Simon Santio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Simon Santio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Azeari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilano Rojelio in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Cloyo got free with Ciriaco Azeari in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nicanor Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Cibran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Goi's late challenge caught a Zeus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Goi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Quilumpa AFC's Faustino Goi got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the Quilumpa AFC defense, Nicanor Eutropio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeo Poz. The Quilumpa AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeo Poz should have stopped the shot. If Nicanor Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeus's Ciriaco Azeari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Zeus from getting a goal against them. Tobias Baristo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Apolo Txaran fired a really elegant long shot, but Ciriaco Azeari threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
