After 19 minutes Naunauco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Everardo Cordarryl who took care of the corner kick. Gusanos FC's Everardo Cordarryl was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Geronimo Ferrando in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Geronimo Ferrando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Panfilo in the 20th minute. A hard shot 24 in the game by Domingos Panfilo from a close distance when the talented Geronimo Ferrando managed to make a qualified save. Naunauco FC's players were relieved. Geronimo Ferrando was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Humberto Gil. In the 36th minute Remigio Oliveiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Oliveiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Ferrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Frichoso in the 44th minute of play. Gabriel Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Oliveiro in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Frichoso to make the kick off. Natalio Velasco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gabriel Pueblo. Gusanos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gabriel Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Oliveiro in the 54th minute of the match. Braulio Hotz took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Pueblo. Gabriel Pueblo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Gusanos FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Zacarias Socorro hit a great ball. With a little luck, Gusanos FC's Gabriel Pueblo got control of the ball when Braulio Hotz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Naunauco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Chuse to maneuver through the defense. Geronimo Ferrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Panfilo in the 76th minute of the match. If Domingos Panfilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute, Naunauco FC's Remigio Oliveiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Pueblo. Gabriel Pueblo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 87 minutes into the match, Gusanos FC's Domingos Panfilo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Ferrando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Domingos Panfilo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geronimo Ferrando. Naunauco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingos Panfilo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Naunauco FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
