But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Urdin couldn't finish the play. In the 11thth minute of the game Feliciano Urdin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Judiciales FC's Oscar Frederico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Feliciano Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gualterio Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliciano Urdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Frederico having to interfere. Feliciano Urdin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Frederico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Gonchan, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Judiciales FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bajo Nuñez:s goal. Judiciales FC:s Oscar Frederico showed great skill when he stopped Leopoldo Gilen:s penalty. In the 43rd match minute, Bajo Nuñez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Gilen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Bajo Nuñez's Ambrosio Gonchan got a free kick in the 46th minute. If Gualterio Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualterio Abaunza made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Judiciales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Gonchan came free, but Oscar Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Feliciano Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Franco having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Alvaro Hondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Judiciales FC and the Bajo Nuñez players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bajo Nuñez booed when Judiciales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Hondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bajo Nuñez's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leopoldo Gilen in the 78th minute. Feliciano Urdin might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Frederico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliciano Urdin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute, Ambrosio Gonchan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feliciano Urdin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Frederico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Ambrosio Gonchan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Oscar Frederico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Judiciales FC's Daniel Quin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicanor Franco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Bajo Nuñez could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Judiciales FC throughout the match.
