The supporters of River Pate booed when Gusanos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Selmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmiro Ted could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Gabriel Pueblo made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Eusko during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jairo Luix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmiro Ted who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Gabriel Pueblo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ismael Bidun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47thth minute of the game Domingos Panfilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Pate's Lucas Tino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Frichoso made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Panfilo got free with Lucas Tino in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Delmiro Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Panfilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lucas Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Emanuel Frichoso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Delmiro Ted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Pueblo having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ismael Bidun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Pueblo was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Emanuel Frichoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. River Pate had won after a very even match.
