But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Ponce couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in PIPACH recargado's zone, Arsenio Cilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Montrelle came out of the goal and Arsenio Cilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Montrelle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arsenio Cilio in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Amado Ganix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Fagondo was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 21 minutes, Santiago Restu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PIPACH recargado and the Ferro de mi Vida players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Santiago Restu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Arsenio Cilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferro de mi Vida's Arsenio Cilio got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 played minutes PIPACH recargado got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Restu. Camilo Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Fagondo having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Ferro de mi Vida's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Ganix came free, but Leon Fagondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, PIPACH recargado's Amado Ganix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Fagondo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 47 minutes, Camilo Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PIPACH recargado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Brion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Ponce was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes PIPACH recargado got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Urti. Camilo Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 60 in the game by Amado Ganix from a close distance when the talented Leon Fagondo managed to make a qualified save. Ferro de mi Vida's players were relieved. Amado Ganix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Fagondo having to interfere. When Amado Ganix came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the PIPACH recargado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Ganix couldn't finish the play. Leon Fagondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Brion in the 67th minute of play. Arsenio Cilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Fagondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute of the match, Camilo Brion tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leon Fagondo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Roman Ponce's late challenge caught a PIPACH recargado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Ponce helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Ferro de mi Vida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Ponce to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferro de mi Vida's goalkeeper Leon Fagondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amado Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Leon Fagondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The PIPACH recargado players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ferro de mi Vida from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
