Guido Ermengol ran back to his position shaking his head. Guido Ermengol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blas Abalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Quenumá's zone, Guido Ermengol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Abalos came out of the goal and Guido Ermengol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Diablos FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Diablos FC's Guido Ermengol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Blas Abalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Ermengol, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Blas Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Ermengol in the 31st minute of the match. Esteve Berdoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quenumá's goalkeeper Blas Abalos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd minute of the match Marcos Jeraldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blas Abalos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 76 played minutes, Quenumá's Israel Nicholas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esteve Osmundo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quenumá reached it. Genaro Ostots charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A hard shot 96 in the game by Amadeo Tolino from a close distance when the talented Blas Abalos managed to make a qualified save. Quenumá's players were relieved. Diablos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
