After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Milan U18's zone, Silvio Fagondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsenio Piarres came out of the goal and Silvio Fagondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Marques to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Bonifacio Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Izel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Florentino Pacifico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Milan U18's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Pacifico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Izel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Fagondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
