Prometeo Portero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Prometeo Portero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Nikola in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Moquehuá's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Taurino came free, but Prometeo Portero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vilmer booed when Moquehuá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Gitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Taurino struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Prometeo Portero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vilmer. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Asteri in the 58th minute of play forced Moquehuá's goalkeeper Prometeo Portero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Taurino scored 2-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prometeo Portero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isaias Hanot hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes, Vilmer's Melchor Maule shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Prometeo Portero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Vilmer's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
