The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres Cba.'s zone, Norberto Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Terciero came out of the goal and Norberto Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Gustavo Frisco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Librado. Alcorta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Frisco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gogo Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Conrado Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Dario Weterio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talleres Cba.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alcorta FC the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Talleres Cba. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Weterio to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Bernabel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, one of Alcorta FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alcorta FC. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Talleres Cba.. Silverio Barrionuevo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Diego Librado. 1-2. Diego Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Belarmo in the 35th minute of the match. When Gogo Uzuri fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres Cba.'s protests and gave Gogo Uzuri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Gogo Uzuri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carolo Terciero was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Cleto Txema capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cleto Txema really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Carolo Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Gonzalo Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Armando Inautzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carolo Terciero was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Frisco made a kick off. Carolo Terciero was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Cleto Txema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute.
