Carolo Terciero came out of the goal and Francisco Abascal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Talleres Cba. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fabian Belarmo hit a great ball. Carolo Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Abascal in the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaac Orlan in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carolo Terciero saved Talleres Cba. from getting behind. boca's Filiberto Su played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Uzuri in the 36th minute of play. Carolo Terciero came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by boca's Isaac Orlan. But to his dismay, Isaac Orlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 42nd match minute, boca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Gustau to maneuver through the defense. boca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 50th minute, when Gustavo Frisco scored to the left of an out of position Filiberto Su, making the score, 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Frisco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Gustavo Frisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Su saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Bittor's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Carolo Terciero - 1-2 was put on the score board in the 63rd minute. Carolo Terciero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Abascal in the 69th minute. The referee showed Albino Dabi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 101st minute, Albino Dabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The boca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing boca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
