Carolo Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Fernandes in the 11th minute of the match. Alcorta FC's Conrado Pancho got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Conrado Pancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Carolo Terciero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alcorta FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Conrado Pancho in the 19th minute. The corner led Alcorta FC's Cleto Txema to fire away a dangerous shot which Carolo Terciero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alcorta FC's Conrado Pancho got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Alcorta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Txema to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes Alcorta FC got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Pancho. With a little luck, Alcorta FC's Diego Librado got control of the ball when Fabian Belarmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Norberto Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Terciero having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Conrado Pancho put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Carolo Terciero. If Conrado Pancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Librado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Belarmo in the 40th minute. Norberto Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Norberto Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Alcorta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Fernandes couldn't finish the play. Conrado Pancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Pancho to make the kick off. Conrado Pancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carolo Terciero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Pancho ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Conrado Pancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carolo Terciero was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. When Conrado Pancho came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Alcorta FC fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Pancho in the 68th minute of play forced Talleres Cba.'s goalkeeper Carolo Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alcorta FC's Armando Inautzi got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Pancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carolo Terciero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres Cba.'s goalkeeper Carolo Terciero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Conrado Pancho struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Carolo Terciero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcorta FC.
