An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Gudesteo in the 8th minute of play forced 25 de mayo's goalkeeper Camilo Sarracino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Urtun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Abel de Mendonça reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roque Gauargi. The goal made the score 2-0. If Ruben Guillem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Gauargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, Abel de Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 25 de mayo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Roque Gauargi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abel de Mendonça showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 29 minute of play. In the last second Roque Gauargi throw himself and got hold of the ball when Abel de Mendonça in the 33rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Feliberto Jurgi came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roque Gauargi could save by the left post. 39 minutes into the match, Las Prefiero Morochas's goal looked a bit too open when Abel de Mendonça came free, but Roque Gauargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Prefiero Morochas's goalkeeper Roque Gauargi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Las Prefiero Morochas's goal looked a bit too open when Abel de Mendonça came free, but Roque Gauargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Abel de Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Gauargi was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel de Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Las Prefiero Morochas defense, Feliberto Jurgi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Gauargi. The Las Prefiero Morochas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Gauargi should have stopped the shot. Roque Gauargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Jurgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Nemesio Lobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Roque Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Bernard hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Roque Gauargi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Arce in the 69th minute of the match. Feliberto Jurgi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Gauargi having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Las Prefiero Morochas got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Rami. 25 de mayo made a substitution. Emanuel Muc replaced Rodrigo Calisto. After 77 played minutes Las Prefiero Morochas got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Rami. In the 83rd minute, Feliberto Jurgi made a precise shot to the right of Roque Gauargi. Las Prefiero Morochas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 87th minute of the match Anselmo Cutberto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roque Gauargi skillfully saved the ball. Roque Gauargi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel de Mendonça went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Roque Gauargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Celestino Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Gauargi having to interfere. Roque Gauargi came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by 25 de mayo's Abel de Mendonça. But to his dismay, Abel de Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 25 de mayo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
