Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clodoveo Egoi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute, Thomás Heidemann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Erlin Håland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VELEZ A MORIR's Anier Marin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 minutes, David Janpier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VELEZ A MORIR and the Vikingos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, VELEZ A MORIR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Janpier to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erlin Håland in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Marin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Vikingos FC's Erlin Håland in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VELEZ A MORIR's goalie prevented a goal. When David Janpier was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. In the 23rd match minute, VELEZ A MORIR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Janpier to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Mattin hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes VELEZ A MORIR got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Mattin. VELEZ A MORIR's Anier Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlin Håland in the 31st minute of play. Erlin Håland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Marin having to interfere. If Thomás Heidemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VELEZ A MORIR's Anier Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlin Håland in the 44th minute of play. Rodrigo Isadore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anier Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlin Håland, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Erlin Håland made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Saul Polo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VELEZ A MORIR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikingos FC the free kick. A collision led to VELEZ A MORIR getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Saul Polo hit a great ball. Rodrigo Isadore struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Anier Marin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vikingos FC. Anier Marin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erlin Håland went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thomás Heidemann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the VELEZ A MORIR defense, Erlin Håland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Marin. The VELEZ A MORIR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Marin should have stopped the shot. Anier Marin was a little too slow when Erlin Håland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-4. A collision led to Vikingos FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Pablo Mouche hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes Vikingos FC got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Mouche. After a rather tough play, VELEZ A MORIR's Dionisio Bizen got a free kick in the 69th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Isadore notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of VELEZ A MORIR's Anier Marin. Anier Marin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anier Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlin Håland in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to VELEZ A MORIR getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Saul Polo hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes VELEZ A MORIR got a freekick which was hit by Saul Polo. With his leg Anier Marin managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Vikingos FC's Erlin Håland fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 93 played minutes VELEZ A MORIR got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Bizen. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VELEZ A MORIR! Vikingos FC played a much better game than VELEZ A MORIR and deserved their victory. The VELEZ A MORIR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
