If Haroldo Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Eriberto Bras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Lucado came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Falopa y Fernet's Ruperto Lalla. But to his dismay, Ruperto Lalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Goiz in the 24th minute of play forced Falopa y Fernet's goalkeeper Bruno Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Braulio Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Argentinos del Norte's Teodoro Cloyo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Falopa y Fernet. Fernando Urko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruperto Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ruperto Lalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Urko in the 45th minute of play forced Falopa y Fernet's goalkeeper Bruno Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Urko was the one to do the kick off. Ruperto Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tiburcio Lucado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Feliberto Pelagius fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argentinos del Norte's protests and gave Feliberto Pelagius a yellow card for diving instead. Ruperto Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Tiburcio Lucado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Felix Raymon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falopa y Fernet's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Raymon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Lucado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruperto Lalla struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Tiburcio Lucado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falopa y Fernet. The supporters of Argentinos del Norte booed when Falopa y Fernet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Xabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Fernando Urko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Haroldo Goiz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Falopa y Fernet's Bruno Paublo. Bruno Paublo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the match, Fernando Urko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Paublo, 1-2. Bruno Paublo made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Haroldo Goiz sent off a good shot on target. Falopa y Fernet's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Fernando Urko scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Paublo, making the score, 1-3.
