With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Sidro in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Txanton saved CSyD Estrella de Boedo from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Durazno FC's Marco Santikurtz got a free kick in the 4th minute. Ceferino Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Maximo Txanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Ourente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Txanton having to interfere. In the 14th minute Gaspar Peruanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Ibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Gaspar Peruanton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Durazno FC's Eugenio Ibar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Durazno FC's zone, Gaspar Peruanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Ibar came out of the goal and Gaspar Peruanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaspar Peruanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Ibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Erroman in the 28th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Celso Sidro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maximo Txanton. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Marco Peruanton hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 40 minutes in the game, Celso Sidro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maximo Txanton having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Sidro to make the kick off. Ramon Abecia kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. CSyD Estrella de Boedo's Maximo Txanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Sidro in the 53rd minute of play. Alfredo Gil charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Gil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes CSyD Estrella de Boedo got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Gil. If Ceferino Hug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Maximo Txanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceferino Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Durazno FC booed when CSyD Estrella de Boedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Costante took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maximo Txanton. CSyD Estrella de Boedo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, CSyD Estrella de Boedo's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Santikurtz came free, but Maximo Txanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Maximo Txanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adrian Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The Durazno FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while CSyD Estrella de Boedo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
