To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximiliano Isauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidro Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Ibar having to interfere. Durazno FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NewKing the free kick. A collision led to Durazno FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Durazno FC. 27 minutes into the match, NewKing's goalkeeper Gogo Chus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceferino Hug. Gogo Chus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Hug in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Durazno FC's Ceferino Hug sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gogo Chus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Hug got free with Gogo Chus in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. NewKing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Durazno FC the free kick. After 43 played minutes NewKing got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Chico. Ceferino Hug could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Gogo Chus made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
Isidro Malvins short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Eugenio Ibar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eugenio Ibar made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Isidro Malvin sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th match minute, Durazno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Santikurtz to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Isauro in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Ibar saved Durazno FC from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Durazno FC's Celso Sidro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gogo Chus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Durazno FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Ibar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Malvin. Isidro Malvin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gogo Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Ibar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Celso Sidro put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gogo Chus. After having played for 88 minutes, Ceferino Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Durazno FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Hug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Celso Sidro came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Durazno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Sidro couldn't finish the play.
