Tokegol FC were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Deportivo Guernica FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Koroğlu Alişanov took the corner. 16 minutes into the match, Deportivo Guernica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Calisto came free, but Paulo Erdiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tokegol FC's goalkeeper Alvar Möllgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Alejandro Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Tokegol FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alejandro Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Calisto in the 28th minute of play forced Deportivo Guernica FC's goalkeeper Paulo Erdiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alejandro Santana came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Deportivo Guernica FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Santana couldn't finish the play. Bartolo Remir struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Erdiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ladislao Calisto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Erdiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Luis Gombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Froilan Tiniebra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Guernica FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tokegol FC the free kick. In the 65th minute, Ladislao Calisto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Erdiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After having played for 69 minutes, Bartolo Remir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Guernica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Remir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvar Möllgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Remir in the 71st minute of play. Bartolo Remir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvar Möllgren having to make a save. When Damaso Normando fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Guernica FC's protests and gave Damaso Normando a yellow card for diving instead. Damaso Normando hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Tomi during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
