Hector Urbez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cienaguilla AFC booed when Crosmayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Urbez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Matai during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ricardo Matai hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Normando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Lorenz having to interfere. Mariano Jordy hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Felipe Ruisko sped through Cienaguilla AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Celso Lorenz. Rodrigo Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Celso Lorenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Matai in the 46th minute of play forced Crosmayo's goalkeeper Felix Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Cienaguilla AFC's Celso Lorenz got control of the ball when Felipe Ruisko tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Crosmayo's goalkeeper Felix Lorenz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Monico. Rodrigo Normando might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Lorenz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Normando ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Lorenz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Matai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
