When Jacinto Pasqual came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the La Beboneta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Pasqual couldn't finish the play. After having played for 18 minutes, Alfredo Gabrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Beboneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Gabrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, La Beboneta's Alfredo Gabrio got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Eliseo Videl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Higinio Vachon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustino Naldo went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Faustino Naldo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Higinio Vachon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio de la Plata. Alfredo Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Cresconio having to interfere. Paulino Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfredo Gabrio took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascual Cresconio. Pascual Cresconio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 43 minutes of play, Rio de la Plata's Faustino Naldo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Vachon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabian Dalmai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Higinio Vachon. La Beboneta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Faustino Naldo made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Alfredo Gabrio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Pascual Cresconio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulino Menendo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pascual Cresconio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Alfredo Gabrio scored 4-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pascual Cresconio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pascual Cresconio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Pasqual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Gabrio in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Cresconio saved Rio de la Plata from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Gabrio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pascual Cresconio was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When Paulino Menendo came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the La Beboneta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Menendo couldn't finish the play. Pascual Cresconio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Gabrio in the 82nd minute of the match. Pascual Cresconio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Gabrio's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Paulino Menendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Beboneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Menendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogelio Palban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Cresconio having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, La Beboneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Palban to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that La Beboneta were the better team. La Beboneta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
