In the 25th minute, Boedo FC's Baldomiro Inge dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Bernabe Emeterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Edgard Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boedo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Gilabert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Emeterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Silverio Esdras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boedo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aris Salónico the free kick. After a rather tough play, Boedo FC's Silverio Esdras got a free kick in the 37th minute. Bernabe Emeterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Txindoki having to interfere. When Jaime Dolfos came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Aris Salónico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Dolfos couldn't finish the play. If Baldomiro Inge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Edgard Gilabert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justino Jakobe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernabe Emeterio was the one to do the kick off. Gervasio Txindoki made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Jaime Dolfos sent off a good shot on target. Boedo FC's Gervasio Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Belarmo in the 60th minute of play. Baldomiro Inge struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Justino Jakobe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boedo FC. If Edgard Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Emeterio in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Txindoki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgard Gilabert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Justino Jakobe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Bartoleme in the 88th minute of play forced Aris Salónico's goalkeeper Justino Jakobe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Boedo FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Txindoki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
