Amancio Eduino came out of the goal and Eliseo Videl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Eliseo Videl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio de la Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Videl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Eduino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rio de la Plata's Pascual Cresconio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Behe in the 21st minute of play. Aaron Behe didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 22nd minute. Tambillos AFC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Eliseo Videl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amancio Eduino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustino Naldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pablo Ado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
