Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sebastian Arias kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Club Atletico River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Valery to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes, Cobo's Melchor Fe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacobo Roland came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cobo reached it. Roque Rainerio kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Club Atletico River Plate's Jacobo Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Arias in the 9th minute of play. Eustaquio Theobald's late challenge caught a Club Atletico River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Theobald helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cobo's Eustaquio Theobald got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Arturo Valery shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Gaizko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cobo's Jonathan Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Aguilera in the 17th minute of play. Hector Orlanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Aguilera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jonathan Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atletico River Plate's attack was well implemented in the 25th minute, but when Antonio Aguilera was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 30th minute, Filomeno Sabin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Gaizko. The goal made the score 1-0. Hector Orlanda might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Gaizko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Orlanda ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Cobo getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Igor Alfonso hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's Arturo Valery broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Hector Orlanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jacobo Roland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Antonio Aguilera made the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Roland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Arias in the 54th minute of play. Hector Orlanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Gaizko having to interfere. Cobo's Jonathan Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Orlanda in the 59th minute of play. If Antonio Aguilera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cobo's Luciano Gil got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Gaizko came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico River Plate's Antonio Aguilera. But to his dismay, Antonio Aguilera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Luciano Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Arias came free, but Jacobo Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Roland having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Gil got free with Jacobo Roland in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonio Aguilera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Gaizko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Orlanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico River Plate's Jacobo Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Gil in the 91st minute of play. When Guaberto Gonzales fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico River Plate's protests and gave Guaberto Gonzales a yellow card for diving instead. Jacobo Roland made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Luciano Gil sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico River Plate's zone, Sebastian Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Roland came out of the goal and Sebastian Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agustin Malvin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Hector Orlanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jonathan Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
