Edelmiro Chinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Edelmiro Chinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Chinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Angel Cai sped through Papin AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Gergori. In the 25th of the match, Danilo Dolfos tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ciro Burutzagi got in the way and made a wonderful save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edelmiro Chinto in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Gergori saved Papin AFC from getting behind. Angel Cai took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Gergori. Christian Gergori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Edelmiro Chinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Gergori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edelmiro Chinto ran back to his position shaking his head. If Edelmiro Chinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Chinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Christian Gergori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Papin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Cai came free, but Christian Gergori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Cai was the one to do the kick off. Papin AFC's Christian Gergori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Papin AFC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 56 minutes, Edelmiro Chinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Chinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Gergori had great luck who in the 63rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Angel Cai from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After having played for 67 minutes, Angel Cai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Cai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Brea's Angel Cai ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christian Gergori. Christian Gergori yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Chinto got free with Christian Gergori in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 88 minutes Papin AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelino Padro who took care of the corner kick. Angel Cai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edelmiro Chinto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Christian Gergori skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ciro Burutzagi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Dolfos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes Brea got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Prejun. When the match was over Brea could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Papin AFC throughout the match.
